What happens at Frostig School . . .

When Tommy came to Frostig School, he could not read despite being in the 5^th grade. He also had no friends. 

At his old school, nicer kids paid him lip service and meaner kids bullied him. He hated school. But at Frostig, the kids were accepting because many had been bullied at their prior schools too.

Frostig teachers understood Tommy’s reading challenges and he received intensive research-based reading instruction. In time, Tommy could read words, and soon after sentences. He felt better about school and himself. One day, he was shocked when he was invited by a classmate to a birthday party! 

Frostig School has helped countless children with learning differences. To ensure every child is learning to his/her fullest, we maintain small class sizes. Our electives program encourages students to explore and excel outside of academics.
